Alibus

No rail reaches the airport: you leave by Alibus coach or fixed-price taxi. No city pass or ARTECARD works on the Alibus, and the same-price integrated ticket also covers 90 minutes of city transport.

    The airport closes through November 2026

    GESAC has announced that the airport will close during November 2026 for a full runway rebuild. The notice is month-level - no day-by-day dates, and nothing about what happens to the Alibus or the taxi ranks. If you are flying into Naples in November, check that the flight exists before you book.

How to ride

    Buy an Alibus ticket in the arrivals hall
    Buy at the machines on the arrivals floor or in an app. Pick the same-price integrated one if you will change to city transport.

    Validate your ticket as soon as you board
    Paper goes through the validator on board and stays with you. An app ticket is activated in the app. A bank card is one tap.
  3. 3
    Get off at the station or the port
    It stops only at Piazza Garibaldi by Napoli Centrale and at the port, calling at the island ferry pier and at Molo Beverello.
  4. 4
    Ask for the fixed fare before the taxi starts
    At the rank opposite Arrivals, ask for the fixed fare. The meter reads F0.00 and a receipt comes before you set off.

    Queue for the shared taxi to split the cost
    Its stand is in the Pick-up area 100 m from Arrivals. It leaves once three passengers are aboard, for the station or the port.

  • Unlicensed drivers tout for rides

    In February 2026 the city police caught four drivers working without a licence at the airport and at Piazza Garibaldi - an operation they ran in plain clothes. Ignore anyone who approaches you in the arrivals hall and join the queue at the official rank opposite.
