How to ride
- 1Buy your ticket before you boardBuy at a ticket machine or DPP counter in Terminal 1 or 2, or in the PID Litacka app - city bus drivers sell nothing.
- 2Pick your line by where you are goingLine 59 meets metro A, line 100 meets metro B, and 191 runs to Andel. All stop right outside the terminals.
- 3Stamp a paper ticket once as you boardPush it arrow-first into the on-board validator. Stamp once only - never re-stamp when you change to the metro.
- 4Treat the AE as a separate serviceThe AE runs straight to the Main Station but needs its own ticket - no PID single, 24/72-hour or season ticket works on it.
- 5After midnight, take night bus 907 or 910From 00:15 to 05:00, when the day lines stop, night buses 907 and 910 link the airport with the city at the same fare.
- 6Take a taxi from the Pick-up PointHead to the Pick-up Point in front of the arrivals hall and give the driver the six-digit PIN from your booking.

Heads-up
-
The 24-hour ticket sold on board is not valid on the AE
The terminal on board the AE sells 24- and 72-hour tickets that are not valid on the AE itself - and their validity starts ticking the moment you buy, with the tariff stating outright that no compensation is due for the unused time. Buy your city ticket before you get on the AE.
-
The AE into town does not call at Terminal 2
Heading into town, the AE does not call at Terminal 2. Both PID and the airport describe the airport end of the AE as Terminal 1, so if you land on a Schengen flight at Terminal 2 you have to make your way over to Terminal 1.
