Prague
The city of a hundred spires. The metro has no gates — the paid area starts at a white line on the floor.
No metro gates: the paid area starts at a white line on the floor. There is no tap-to-ride — a contactless card only buys a ticket; no rechargeable transit card exists. One time-based ticket covers metro, trams and buses, transfers included; stamp a paper ticket once, never again. The PID Lítačka app is cheaper than paper but tickets start a minute after activation. City drivers sell nothing; on-board terminals take cards only. No train serves the airport — city buses go there on the standard ticket; only the Airport Express needs its own fare.
