How to ride

    Register an account
    Register on the official e-ticket site (eticket.railway.gov.bd). Foreigners need a passport, email, and mobile number.

    Choose a train and class, then book
    Classes range from Shovan (non-AC) to Snigdha (AC) and AC Chair. Snigdha is comfortable for long daytime trips.

    Pay online
    Pay with mobile banking (bKash, Nagad, etc.) or with Visa / Mastercard.
  4. 4
    Arrive at the station early
    Dhaka's main terminus is Kamalapur station. It is large and crowded — arrive at least 30 minutes before departure.

    Be ready for ticket checks
    Tickets are checked at the platform gate and on board. Keep your ticket and the passport you registered with handy.
