Sweden
Uppsala
Sweden's oldest university and largest cathedral. Off the airport line, one UL fare rides anywhere for 75 minutes.
Mälartåg regional trains and the SL commuter train (SL-pendeln)
One UL ticket covers both Mälartåg and the SL commuter train. Nothing is sold on board, so buy at a platform machine or in the UL app and activate it before the train leaves. No tapping a bank card to ride.

Heads-up
-
SJ trains share the tracks but not your UL ticket
Between Uppsala, Knivsta and Arlanda/Märsta, SJ trains use the same tracks. Neither a UL ticket nor a Mälartåg ticket is valid on them - an SJ ticket is a separate purchase. At Uppsala C, check the operator on the departure board before you get on.
-
SL tickets are not valid on Mälartåg
On UL-side tickets, only the SL commuter train takes you through to central Stockholm. SL tickets and the combined UL+SL ticket are not valid on Mälartåg, so on a Mälartåg you add a Mälartåg ticket for the stretch beyond Märsta - or buy a single Mälartåg ticket for the whole run instead.
