Croatia's only full tram network runs through the city. Buy before you board and stamp a paper ticket once, at the machine by the front door. Only the buses make you think about zones.
ZET bus
Zones matter on the bus and nowhere else in ZET - in town a bus ticket is a tram ticket. Buy at a kiosk, in the Moj ZET app or from the driver, and board at the front door. You cannot tap a bank card to ride.

Summer timetable until 7 September
From 15 June to 7 September trams and buses run a reduced summer timetable. Bus lines 114 (Ljubljanica-Prečko) and 275 (Sesvete-Sesvetska Sopnica) do not run at all during that period.
How to ride
- 1Buy your ticket before you boardBuy at a Tisak or iNovine kiosk, or in the Moj ZET app. Singles from the driver cost more and cover zone 1 only.
- 2Buy a two-zone ticket if you leave the cityVelika Gorica, Zaprešić, Bistra, Luka and Stupnik sit in zone 2; a zone 1 ticket runs out at the boundary stop.
- 3Board through the front doorThe driver checks tickets, so you board at the front door - it is marked on the outside of the bus.
- 4Validate every time you boardPunch a paper ticket in the machine by the front door; tap a ZET card or the app on a reader each time.
- 5Choose on the screen before tapping a ZET cardTap without choosing and it takes a one-zone fare; pick another ticket, a second zone or extra people on screen first.

Inspectors work in plain clothes as well as in uniform, so the absence of a uniform is no reason to ride without a ticket. If someone claims to be an inspector, you may ask to see their ID card.
