Sweden
Malmö
A port town at the Swedish end of the bridge from Copenhagen. Only its green city buses take a tap of a bank card.
Skånetrafiken's app is your base; train tickets are bought before boarding — nothing sold on board, no gates, inspectors check. The one place a bank-card tap works is the green city bus, on its reader; yellow regional buses and trains need a pre-bought ticket. A ticket across the strait also covers Copenhagen's metro and city buses within the zones you bought. Your main airport is Copenhagen's, over the border — one Skånetrafiken ticket reaches it; Malmö Airport is coach-only. Taxis are free-priced, no cap: ask a fixed price before setting off.
