Have contactless or Oyster ready

Ride with contactless or Oyster, just like the Tube. No cash, and paper tickets are no longer sold.

Tap the platform reader before boarding

Tap the yellow reader on the platform, then board. There are no readers on the tram - tapping after boarding isn't possible.

Don't tap out

Fares are flat, so there's no tap-out. The only exception is passing the rail gates at Wimbledon station.
