Bike share here means Anywheel, and it runs entirely from its app - a foreign SIM is fine at signup, and a ride costs 10 baht per 30 minutes. Rides end only at a blue P spot, and only once you scan the QR there.

How to ride

    Install the app and sign up
    Get the app from the App Store, Google Play or Huawei AppGallery and sign up with a phone number - a foreign SIM works fine.

    Top up the wallet or buy a pass
    Top up the in-app wallet or buy a pass before riding; the minimum top-up costs more than a one-day pass.

    Find a bike on the app map
    Bikes show as green dots. Keep Bluetooth and GPS on the whole time, and find a blue P return spot near your destination first.

    Scan the QR on the bike to unlock
    Scan the QR on the bike to unlock, check the saddle and brakes, and remember that traffic here keeps to the left.

    Scan the spot's QR to end the ride
    Park at a blue P spot and pull the rear-wheel lock down by hand. The ride is not over until you scan the QR posted there.

Heads-up

  • Ending outside a designated spot costs 50 baht

    A ride can only be ended at a designated spot, shown as a blue P on the app map. Returning means parking there, locking the bike by hand and scanning the QR posted at the spot to confirm - skip the scan and the ride keeps running. Leave the bike anywhere else and 50 baht is charged on top, to cover collecting it and putting it back.
