No separate airport train, no surcharge - R4 is an ordinary Red Line stop with the normal distance fare into town. Last city-bound train 24:02; after that it's a taxi, plus NT$50 only from the international terminal.

How to ride
- 1Head down to metro station R4Exit 6 connects to the international terminal, exit 2 to the domestic one; four more exits lead out to the car parks.
- 2Get a ticket, or just use your cardSingle tickets come from the counter or the machines; blank iPASS cards only from the counter. A contactless card needs neither.
- 3Pick the right zone on the gate readerIC cards go on the IC zone, bank cards and phone wallets on the credit-card zone, QR tickets on the QR-code zone.
- 4Take a train towards GangshanNorthbound trains head into the city; change at Formosa Boulevard (O5/R10) for the Orange Line.
- 5Tap out on the same zoneExit with the same ticket or card you entered with - a missed tap gets charged back to you.
- 6For a taxi, find the right rankInternational: the rank is outside the shop by gate 1, cruising taxis near pillar 9. Domestic: turn right out of gate 3.

Ignore unlicensed cars - licensed taxis queue at arrivals
The airport's own notice tells passengers not to ride unlicensed vehicles. Licensed taxis queue at the kerb by the arrivals exit on the terminal's ground floor, and they charge by the meter.

Orange Line connections end before the last Red Line train
The last train from R4 that still connects to the Orange Line leaves at 23:42 on weekdays and 23:47 at weekends. Miss it and you can still catch the last Red Line train at 24:02, but you can go no further than Formosa Boulevard.
