Warsaw
A capital that rebuilt its old town from rubble. Trams do the heavy lifting; buy your ticket before you board.
Nothing here lets you tap a bank card to ride, and there is no top-up card for visitors either. Buy first - machine or approved app - and validate the moment you board; once an inspection starts the validators lock and a late stamp is void. One ZTM ticket covers the metro, trams and buses plus the SKM trains, but on KM and WKD trains and the blue "L" buses only 24-hour and longer tickets count - the one exception is KM's RL airport line. The Warsaw Pass includes no transport, so the 24- and 72-hour tickets are the real passes.
