The same card that works on the MRT works here - tap when you board AND when you alight. Board through the front door of the (usually double-decker) bus.

How to ride

    Flag your bus
    Multiple routes share each stop - raise your hand so your bus pulls in.

    Board at the front and tap
    Tap your card or phone on the reader by the front door - whatever works on the MRT works here.
  3. 3
    Ring, alight at the rear, tap out
    Press the bell, exit through the rear door, and always tap out - or you'll pay the maximum fare.
