Busan
Korea's second city, famous for its beaches and film festival. The metro runs from the seaside to the hot springs.
No gate in Busan takes a bank-card tap. Your key is a transit card (EZL/Cashbee): it covers the metro, the Donghae Line, city buses, the airport light rail and limousine bus, and only it earns the transfer discount. Overseas credit cards cannot load the physical card — top it up with cash. Foreign cards work only in the metro's official app, whose QR tickets and day passes are metro-only, invalid on the Donghae Line, buses and light rail. Taxis via Kakao T or Uber are licensed and metered; night and out-of-city surcharges are official rates.
